A silver gilt box in black enamel, the top centred with a stylized floral design, the hinged lid with a barrel shaped green and black enamel latch, approximately 7.6cm in length, 3.7cm wide, 2cm deep, weight approximately 101.1g. Marked 18 yellow gold and silver, maker's mark for Jacques Cartier and Auguste Peyroula, signed 'CARTIER MADE IN FRANCE', numbered '2832' London import mark, French, circa 1929, in a fitted Cartier case.
