Cabochon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover millegrain setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, encircled by single row of round old cut diamonds, further set to the shoulders, twenty eight in total, in open back grain and rubover millegrain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to a floraform cluster with intricate scalloped wirework, a pierced openwork gallery with circular motifs and cheniers to the shoulders, leading down to a solid D-shape tapered shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920.
