Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.66 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving double claws, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling details and open backholing, the slightly raised tapering shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services Report #79184-68.
