Burmese sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, encircled by a single row of twelve round single cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.36 carats, to an attractive circular cluster with polished scalloped edge, decoratively pierced openwork gallery and open backholing, leading to raised inwardly tapering shoulders with cheniers, flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold and platinum, English, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81288-63.
