Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover millegrain setting with an approximate weight of 1.37 carats, encircled by a double row of round old single cut diamonds, forty six in total with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant cushion shape cluster with an ornate scalloped openwork gallery, intricate pierced backholing and flanked by gently sloping shoulders leading to a solid flat shank. Marked white gold with platinum settings, French control mark, circa 1920, accompanied by Laboratoire Francais de Gemmologie report #309948.
