Description

Belle Époque pearl and diamond cluster ring. Set with two round natural saltwater pearls and seventeen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats, additionally set to the shoulders with two round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.02 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.42 carats, to a fancy cluster design with millegrain decoration and ornately pierced backholing, the trumpeting shoulders proceeding to a ridged D-shape shank. Marked 14 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1905.
