Belle Époque diamond solitaire engagement ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VVS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 2.42 carats in an open back claw setting, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the raised tapering shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, indistinct maker's mark, French, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6203489573.
