Description

Belle Époque Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a natural Colombian emerald with indications of minor clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.42 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster with scalloped edges, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders featuring a plaited openwork design, flowing to a solid ridged shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, French, numbered '13210', circa 1895, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79183-16.
