Art Nouveau opal and diamond ring. Set to centre with a marquise shape cabochon natural unenhanced white opal in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, flanked by eight round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.12 carats, to a textured interwoven openwork wide band with tulip motifs and pierced backholing, extending down to a tapered shank. Marked yellow gold with platinum settings, French, circa 1900.
