Art Nouveau Colombian emerald and diamond crossover ring. Set to centre with a kite shape step cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, further set with twelve round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, to a smoothly conforming crossover design featuring curving claws, polished edges and fancy open backholing with smoothly conforming shoulders flowing through to solid ridged shank. Tested rose gold with platinum settings, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78162-70.
