Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Set with two square step cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover settings with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, bordered by a single row of round old cut diamonds, thirty in total with an approximate weight of 0.30 carats in open back grain settings with rubover borders, all to an ornate pierced gallery with cheniers to the inward tapered shoulders, leading to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, maker's mark 'RN', circa 1925.
