Art Deco diamond ring. Set to centre with a single round old cut diamond, L colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.57 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by eight rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.07 carats, to an elegant linear design featuring corner claws, a geometrically pierced gallery and fancy shaped open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a tapering solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5774-687.
