Art Deco emerald-cut diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, H colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 0.94 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.24 carats, to an elegant geometric design with corner claws and polished edges, a pierced open gallery and linear open backholing, the stepped shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by a Gemmological Institute of America report #2155716803.
