Antique diamond solitaire ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut diamond, K colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.19 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.35 carats, to a solitaire design featuring curving claws, an ornate pierced collet and fancy open backholing, flanked by sloping shoulders with millegrain borders supported by cheniers which terminates in a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #5181767168.
