Art Deco diamond ring. Set with a round old cut diamond to centre in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.05 carats, flanked by four tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.32 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.37 carats, to elegant curving claws on the central collet and an openwork gallery with intricate backholing, flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1935.
