Art Deco diamond engagement ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.55 carats, flanked by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.61 carats, to a geometric solitaire design featuring stylised claws with polished borders, an open linear gallery and square backholing, the slightly raised tapering shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, English, circa 1930.
