Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set to the centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back slightly raised square millegrain collet, surrounded by a row of eight round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings, all nine with a combined weight of 1.40 carats, set further with an outer row of eight round rose cut diamonds with a weight of 0.08 carats in grain settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.48 carats, all set to a square form with ornate scrolled openwork to the conforming finger gallery with pointed shoulders and delicate cheniers, leading down to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925.
