Description

Art Deco step cut diamond ring. Set with one rectangular step cut diamond, E colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 2.07 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.28 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.35 carats, to a graduating design with a fancy openwork gallery and shaped backholing, flanked by stepped raised shoulders leading to linear engraved detail, tapering to a flat shank. Tested platinum, indistinctly numbered, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #2185946648.
