Antique emerald and diamond marquise cluster ring. Vertically set with five octagonal emerald-cut natural Muzo emeralds with no colour enhancement in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 2.00 carats, encircled by a single row of twenty six round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.30 carats, to a marquise cluster design featuring curving claws, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by elegant trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested rose gold, circa 1900.
