Victorian five stone diamond ring. Horizontally set with five cushion shape old minediamonds in open backclaw settings with a combined approximate weight of 3.60 carats, to an intricate five stone design featuring curving claws, an ornately pierced gallery with scrollwork motifs and geometric open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and tapering to a solid ribbed shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1890.
