Victorian Colombianemerald and diamond three row ring. Set horizontally with a row of five octagonal emerald-cutnatural Colombian emeralds with no colour enhancement in open backcutdown settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, further set with eighteen round old cutdiamonds in open back grain and cutdown settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to an elegant graduating three row design featuring intricate openwork, curving claws and fancy shape open backholing, leading to ornately carved shoulders with a foliate motif and flowing through to a solid tapering D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80265-52.
