Antique diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back six claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.95 carats, to a hexagonal setting with circular pierced backholing, the split shoulders with delicate chevron engraved detailing and tapering through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct maker's mark, full English hallmarks for Birmingham, circa 1900.
