Description
AntiqueBurmeseruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a natural unenhanced oval old cut Burmese ruby in an open back yellow gold four claw setting with a weight of 1.25 carats, encircled by a single row of ten round old cut diamonds in open back platinumclaw settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats, all to a floraform cluster with conforming finger gallery and intricate backholing, to trumpeted inward tapered shoulders and a solid D-shapeshank. Accompanied by a GPL report no 07248 stating the ruby is from Burma with no indication of heat treatment. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1910.
