Antique Burmese ruby and diamond cluster ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, encircled by eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, to an elegant cluster with millegrain borders, openwork gallery, fancy shaped backholing and inwardly tapering shoulders leading through to a solid slim D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5777-8614.
