Ancient Roman gold ring with helmet intaglio. Set with an oval cornelian intaglio finely engraved with a helmet in a closed back collet setting, encircled by a fine wirework border, all to a slim flat shank. Tested yellow gold, approximately 2.4g in weight, circa 3rd century AD.
