Ancient Roman fishermen intaglio ring. Set with an oval cabochon dark blue stone intaglio in a closed back rubover setting, finely engraved with a group of fishermen, surrounded by a decorative beaded border, leading to rounded shoulders with granule detail and flowing through to a slender D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 3rd century AD.
