Description

Georgian diamond ring, English, circa 1770. A gold and silver ring set with one central cushion shaped old mine diamond in a silver bead setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, encircled by eight cushion shaped rose cut diamonds in silver topped gold cut-down settings with an approximate total weight of 1.00 carats, the ovoid bezel with a gold gadrooned convex back, flanked by tri-part foliate shoulders, on a yellow gold ridged shank, and with an approximate combined diamond weight of 1.90 carats.
