Description

Diamond cluster ring, circa 1920. A platinum ring set with one central round old cut diamond in a millegrain collet setting with an approximate weight of 0.95 carats, surrounded at the cardinal points by four round old cut diamonds in millegrain collet settings with an approximate total weight of 4.00 carats, further bordered by twelve round eight cut diamonds in millegrain collet settings, above an openwork scalloped gallery, flanked by shoulders bead set with two round eight cut diamonds, all fourteen round eight cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.30 carats, on a ribbed D-section shank, and with an approximate combined diamond weight of 2.25 carats.
