old cut diamond in an
illusion setting with an approximate weight of 2.75 carats, the raised integrated shoulders ornately with florettes and scrolling foliate motifs, all on a half round
shank. Bearing the last mark of the Chester assay office (in use 1779-1961), and the
maker's mark of of Emile Viener (later Viner) of Sheffield.
